NEW JEWEL!!

               

             It's finally here. The Bat Necklace is finished and up on all my shops for sale!!!  I am really happy with the way he turned out. Since this is a limited edition necklace I was able to use materials that I wouldn't have if it was part of a regular collection.  The necklace is so sparkly and delicate in person. I haven't taken mine of since I put it on.

This is me wearing my bat necklace with much pride.

    I gave a sneak peak of this perfect abalone shell bat charm a little while ago.  I have come a  lot closer to finding the perfect way to showcase this perfect charm.  Here's a look at the components I will most probably be using.
    The black beads are made of facet cut onyx. The blue star is the wax model I am carving that will be used to make a mold for a metal charm. I AM GETTING REALLY EXCITED ABOUT THIS ONE!! It should be up in the shop in around a month. I will definitely be giving it a loud debut so stay tuned!!

    I have bats on my mind. Mostly because I found these abalone bat charms when I was out buying my findings this week that I am in love with. Really they are nothing special but they just really stole my heart. Maybe it is because the bat is giving a perfect half smile. Or, because it is primitively carved. Maybe I don't care why I just love my new little bat. I think I am going to rig him up to a 14K yellow chain with some stars. I'll post the necklace when I am finished.
